Over the last few years of my celebrant career, I've always tried my best to match my celebrant outfit to my couple's wedding theme.

There are a few reasons for this:

1) It's fun and it's a good excuse for me to play around with looks (I love a bit of fashion!)

2) I want to blend in! Whether you've gone for sage green or vibrant pink, I will always try my best to find an outfit in my wardrobe which will complement your theme.

3) Depending on how you'd like to stand during your ceremony, I may be in a few photos, and I definitely don't want to clash with your florals or decor!

(Disclaimer: I always stand to the side for the vows/readings/symbolic elements/kiss etc anyway).

My goal is to make each wedding as personal as possible and coordinating what I'm wearing to match your favourite colours or theme is just another little detail I like to think about. Of course, the main focus in planning will always be the writing, the getting to know you, telling your story and making sure you enjoy the ceremony planning process, but this is just a little detail.

I have had requests for certain outfits I've worn before and that's fab, as that means I don't have to think about it! But if you send me your colours (which is also part of your couples quiz), I'll make sure to find something close to your vibe. Equally, if you'd like me to avoid any, just write it down!

If you’re looking for a relaxed, storytelling celebrant in the North East and Yorkshire. I offer weddings, vow renewals and naming days too!
