What if I told you that your ceremony could tell your love story and you get to be a part of the entire wedding ceremony planning process?
As planning begins, I will send a quiz for you to complete which is designed to help you reminisce about your time together so far. So, get a date night booked in and enjoy using this time to reflect on what you've taught each other, your thoughts on marriage, your dreams for your future, and (of course) your favourite parts of your love story so far.
A draft script will then be written and then our collaboration starts!
The possibilities are endless!
I am a wedding celebrant covering the North East and Yorkshire but I am always happy to travel!

Pricing for my personalised ceremonies starts at £650. My ceremony payment plan also allows you to pay for your ceremony in monthly installments, making it even easier to plan for your perfect day.

Meg will write a first draft of your wedding or vow renewal ceremony which tells your love story & is all about you!

Meg is there to officiate your wedding ceremony on the day; she'll speak to your guests and help calm your nerves. She will arrive at least 1.5 hours before.

A relaxed meeting over Zoom to get to know you, your journey, and your vision for the big ahead. This is your chance to also get to know me more and my process; ask anything!
You will be provided with my couples quiz... so pour a gin & tonic or grab your favourite snacks and use this to reminisce about your time together so far. I also want to know your thoughts on marriage and your dreams for the future. The more detailed, the better!
A personal, storytelling ceremony script, tailored to suit your personalities & the tone you want to set for your big day. A script that narrates your journey from first impressions to your wedding day. Drafts will be provided for you to review, so feel free to share your thoughts...don’t hold back!
Your wedding day has arrived! I'll be there on the day to officiate your personalised ceremony and to make sure everything runs smoothly. Arrival one hour before.
Vow cards and reading cards designed to suit your wedding theme, provided by CelebrantInk
A keepsake folder will be given to you after your special day, containing all of your ceremony memories, including your bespoke cards and a copy of your story and script.

If you need help with writing your vows, I offer help and advice within my celebrant fee!
I have prompts that can get you thinking, sentence starters, and fresh ideas to get you going!
If you haven't hired me as your celebrant but you need assistance writing your vows, I would love to help.
I charge £55; this includes consultations via phone/email, drafts, and amendments.
Wedding speech writing also available for £55.
Wedding Ceremony Symbolic Elements
When you choose a wedding celebrant, you have more freedom to be creative and personalise your wedding ceremony. Of course, if symbolic elements aren't your thing, that's perfectly ok too! Check out what other couples have done via my 'real weddings' blog!

The legal bit
Unfortunately, independent wedding celebrants in the UK cannot currently legally marry couples. (We are hoping this will change soon).
The legal part takes approx 20 minutes and can be done at your local register office.
You must give your local registrar notice of your intend to marry and make arrangements for a 'statutory ceremony' as soon as possible. 2 witnesses must be present and you will get your marriage certificate signed at this point.
