This year I had the pleasure of taking part in a styled shoot at Walworth Castle in Darlington. The 12th-century castle features a new woodland ceremony space that truly resembles a scene from a fairytale, nestled underneath trees dressed in lights and wood-carved benches, it's a fantastic backdrop to say 'I do' if you're looking for a woodland vibe.

Being a wedding celebrant, I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to join the shoot and explore the new ceremony space. I was blown away by how truly magical it felt especially with decor from XLB Events and Katherine Cherry Designs framing the aisle.
Our lovely models, Steph and Mark, married at Walworth previously and they were excited to be back to reminisce and see the new addition to their wedding venue! Steph's hair and makeup was done beautifully by Nadia Scott and Shanice before she tried on a stunning dresses from Beautiful Day Bridal with Mark dressed in All About The Suit.

The stationery, designed and printed by Ever After Designs, included vow cards, invitations, and a welcome sign which matched perfectly with the enchanting scenes.
To sweeten the day further, we all got to try tasty, intricate, cakes made by Fairy Hill wedding cakes!

It was so fantastic to spend the day working collaboratively to see what this new space has to offer.
If you're looking for a woodland style wedding ceremony in the North East, hidden in the grounds of a castle - add Walworth to your list of venues to visit!
