Real Wedding | Mr & Mrs Watson | Lartington Hall, Barnard Castle Celebrant

Lartington Hall, Barnard Castle

Mr & Mrs Watson's special day looked almost as if it were plucked from an episode of Bridgerton. The breathtaking gardens at Lartington Hall in Barnard Castle created a perfect, picturesque setting to start their next chapter as husband and wife.

Enhancing their fairytale setting were stunning sage green sashes and floral arrangements by Robin Wedding and Event Decor.

We joked for months about burying a sausage for good weather before the big day (if you know, you know), but thankfully this wasn't needed, and the rain stayed at bay for their dream outdoor ceremony.

The guests were welcomed and reminded of some ceremony requests before Beth's grand entrance, which was eagerly anticipated by her soon-to-be husband, Phil.

As 'I Will Always Love You' (Bridgerton version) was played in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere amongst the breathtaking countryside views, Beth was welcomed into the gardens with her dad as everyone looked on in amazement.

At it's heart, their celebrant ceremony was all about love. We spoke about the love we felt radiating from their guests, including their children (mini VIPs) and, of course, the love they have for each other which had brought two families together. With hints of bridgerton inspired vocabulary weaved into the script, we welcomed the 'ton' to their wedding after a very long courtship.

When speaking of marriage and their previous story chapters (with supermarket check out puns), we reminisced about how their friendship at work turned into romance and how they had grown a family from that connection too.

Now, it was time to look forward to their future as 'The Watsons', the couple exchanged rings and read their handwritten vows to each other before be reintroduced as husband and wife to their friends and family (cue applause & celebration!!)

Before the newlyweds were showered with confetti, their children were invited join them at the front to sign a family certificate.

This was a significant (and cute!) moment for a young family and for Beth, who finally has the same last name!

Their loving ceremony lead to lively celebrations, highlighted by a joyful sing-along to 'Unwritten' by Natasha Bedingfield, with the couple and their guests singing at the top of their lungs! What a memorable moment—it felt like something straight out of a romantic comedy!

Congratulations again to Mr & Mrs Watson!

Welcome to your next chapter... the rest is still unwritten....
