Real Wedding | Mr & Mrs Scott | North Shire, North Yorkshire Celebrant

On a magical summer day in August, we all ventured to the shire to celebrate two lovely people getting married.

Anna and Peter's special day beautifully blended elements and ideas of magic and adventure. Their chosen venue, North Shire, was the perfect choice for a fusion of the two, drawing hints and inspiration from the films and books.

The stunning venue located on the North Yorkshire Moors boasts idyllic views and set the scene for the start of their enchanting day.

Let's look back at their bespoke celebrant wedding ceremony.

As guests gathered on the grounds, a sense of excitement for the day ahead filled the air. As groomsmen distributed confetti and loved ones found their seats, Peter prepared to catch a first glimpse of his bride.

We invited everyone to stand to welcome Anna, but first, it was the flower grannies' big moment, accompanied by a few of their groomsmen. An absolutely gorgeous warm-up for the main characters, Peter & Anna. As Anna walked down the aisle with her dad, her smile was infectious and brought with it even more light and warmth to an already glorious day.

As we welcomed their guests to their ceremony, we shared their thoughts on marriage and linked these back to memorable and amusing tales from the happy couple's time together so far.

Before they made their vows to each other, we reflected on their love story so far with a bespoke poem, reminding their guests of how they met, their first date, special memories, and, of course, the proposal.

Now, it was time to focus on the present, and after a game of rock, paper, scissors to decide who would go first, Anna and Peter read their charming, handwritten words in front of their family and friends.

A sentimental reading was to follow, recited by bridesmaid Katie. They chose song lyrics from a tune that holds special meaning for them as a couple and links to the marriage era of their story.

Each moment in their ceremony set the tone for the next element and as the moment to exchange rings drew near, the surprise ring bearer was announced, and their dog, Sprout, dressed as a hobbit, made his way down the aisle.

The cutie proudly carried the rings on a chain, a brilliant moment for their fur baby!

Before concluding their bespoke ceremony, there was one final ritual left to perform. The couple decided to incorporate a first kiss/last kiss shared with their mothers.

For those of you who don't know what this is, we invited their mothers up to the front and spoke of how their loving kiss was the first Peter and Anna experienced when entering the world; we then invited them to kiss their son/daughter to wave them off on their married adventure.

Now, with their mother's blessing, it was time for the big announcement, introducing their friends to the new Mr and Mrs Scott, followed by a stunning confetti exit complete with a dip kiss!

A fantastic start to their magical day, congratulations again to Mr and Mrs Scott! xx
