A couple in wedding attire walks down the aisle, the bride in white with a bouquet, the groom in a blue suit, surrounded by smiling guests.

Michelle and Graeme celebrated their wedding 200 feet 'above' the vibrant city of Newcastle. The Vermont hotel's rooftop bar provided a stunning backdrop with breathtaking panoramic views of the city's skyline, creating a perfect setting for their personalised wedding ceremony in the heart of the city they both love.

As we welcomed guests into the ceremony room decorated with a stunning floral arch and arrangements by Robin Event Decor, the atmosphere was already filled with laughter and excitement as we eagerly awaited Michelle's arrival, which was certainly worth the wait.

As Michelle made her grand entrance, the entire room lit up with smiles. We're sure in this moment Graeme's heart was beating as fast as the bustling city below.

We welcomed their guests and encouraged family and friends to dance, drink, and eat as they celebrated the commitment Michelle and Graeme were making. We linked the idea of marriage to their favourite hobbies, including shopping and horse racing, poking fun at the couple, which induced laughter from all their guests.

As we spoke of one of Graeme's passions, trains, we compared relationships to a train journey, with each stop holding a milestone or memory, which led to reminding their guests of their personal journey together so far.

We told the story of how they met through work, first impressions, and their favourite memories, all leading to their big day! It was a lovely time to reflect on the past whilst looking forward to the future in the very city they now call home together.

It was now time to showcase their dedication in front of their closest friends and family. We asked them to join hands, and a handfasting cord in blue, white, and Scottish tartan, linking to the bride's Scottish roots and the groom's second name, was gently tied in an infinity knot and placed on top of their wrists. They then exchanged their thoughtful, handwritten vows before joining their lives together in unity by tying the knot together. A beautiful moment.

Once the pair exchanged their rings, they were asked to hold hands again, and a bespoke poem was read, which they completed with the words "I do" in unison. Queuing applause for the nearlyweds before signing a decorative certificate, matching their vow cards and decor with a blue rose design.

Now the cord was tied, the names signed, and vows read; it was time to celebrate with their family and friends!

Shortly after their big day, they honeymooned in Vegas, where they certainly hit the jackpot!

Congratulations again! Xx
