Meg's celebrant ceremony round up | A poetry tribute to the class of 24'

What an amazing year it's been,

filled with weddings and celebration!

I raise a glass to my couples.

Let's give them a standing ovation!

On a sunny Easter Sunday,

Kym & Dan's story was read.

Their children signed their parchment,

and beautiful vows were said.

Fast forward to the Walkers',

a band warming and wishes in May.

Rock, Paper, Scissors and a beautiful reading,

their Spaniels were part of their day.

Unity candles and ring surprises,

whilst cradling their sons too,

A moment for Lily and Sam

as they held hands and said, ‘I do.’

Bride and groom lighting unity candle

The Aspen’s story set the scene

in the Lakes as the sun was shining.

‘Under the Sea’ was played

after a decorative certificate signing.

Outdoor ceremony bride and groom in front of guests

A naming day for Conner

filled with friends and family.

A group vow and happy birthday,

parent promises filled with glee.

Song lyrics for Emma and Andy

with a ceremony referee,

The cutest surprise ring bearer

and a family sand ceremony.

Love and laughter for the Watsons:

lovely vows and tales were told.

A signature by their children

before gorgeous confetti was thrown.

Bride reading her vows to the groom as family watches on.

A vow renewal for Pam and Mark!

Bespoke readings & sand too.

Celebrating 21 years of marriage,

Only Fools and Horses with a lake view.

The Scotts ventured to the Shire

with Frodo doggo & personal readings.

Flower grannies & mother’s kisses

giving us all the magical feelings.

Bride and groom playing rock, paper, scissors

Up Above in Newcastle

The Mackenzies tied the knot.

A signing, vows, and saying ‘I do’

This moment won’t be forgot(ten)!

The Richmond’s beautiful story,

handwritten vows and some French too.

Religious readings and granny moments

With a gorgeous country view.

Kelly and Harry’s wedding day,

Filled with travel and gaming puns,

A coin was tossed before the vows,

A ceremony filled with fun.

The Stephenson’s light-hearted moment

Band warming and hiding pens,

Fun games and a poem for the rings,

In a room filled with family and friends.

Yvonne and Angus exchanged their vows

Under the Arbour, a beautiful scene.

Exchanged rings and signed a parchment,

A fantastic married team.

Mr & Mrs Booth's story was read,

A Christmassy, twilight celebration.

After their vows & rings were exchanged,

they were given a standing ovation.

Thank you so much for choosing me,

What a beautiful year it's been!

Each ceremony filled with love and laughter,

the ultimate celebrant dream.

Love Meg x
