Meet Meg!

I'm a relaxed, modern wedding celebrant with a positive attitude. I value fun, family, and preparation when planning ceremonies. I also LOVE crafting unique poetry readings.

I think being a celebrant is an honour, and I strive to form friendships with my couples.

As a celebrant and designer, I also create vow and reading cards in-house, focusing on a completely personalised service from booking to your big day!

I am originally from Barnard Castle but now live in Darlington with my husband with plans to move to Sedgefield this year. So far I have officiated ceremonies in County Durham, Darlington, Sedgefield, Newcastle, Northumberland, the Lake District, Stockton, North Yorkshire, Derbyshire, & Nottinghamshire... so I cover wherever my couples would like me to go! What is a wedding celebrant?

Wedding celebrants create completely bespoke ceremonies. We get to know our couples, their story, their beliefs, and their plans for their big day. We work with you to create a truly unique wedding ceremony, AND you get to choose your celebrant!

There are no restrictions on a celebrant wedding; you can have your ceremony at any time and location.

Plus, you have creative freedom; from surprise ring bearers to handwritten poetry, you can create YOUR dream ceremony! Whether you're into romance or a couple who don't take themselves too seriously, there really is something for everyone!

Choose personality over legality! Wedding celebrants, unfortunately, aren't legal in England, so you will need to get legally married at the register office, BUT then you get to have your ceremony how YOU want it on your big day!

Celebrants can also officiate vow renewals and naming days.

'We got married at Lodore Falls on the 10th May 24 our Wedding had a quick turn around. From the instance we met Meg on our zoom we knew she was the one for us. The level of service, the details,the care and compassion is just amazing. I was so thankful we couldn’t book a registrar and had to search for a celebrant because I wouldn’t of wanted it any other way. Meg made it so personal and will be something we never forget. The passion that comes from Meg is just so lovely, she is 100% made to do this job and will be the highlight of your day and an honor to have her there too.
